Ferdows Religious School
Ferdows Religious School is a historic school with octagonal design , located in the southwest of Ferdows city , in the center of the ancient city of Toon , in South Khorasan province , Iran .
This school was built in the Safavi period with the effort of Mir Ali Beyk . It has a library , two porches in the east and west sides , a mosque , yard and some camarillas in its sides . This school also has four terraces which are located at the entrance axis in the south and north sides . The cover of library and mosque is dome shaped and the plot of the school is octagonal .
Furg Citadel
The Citadel of Furg , or Arg e Furg , is a citadel from the 12th entury , located in South Khorasan , in Iran , near Birjand . The citadel was founded by Meerza Muhammad Rafiee Darmiany I (Lama) .
Masjed Jame Ferdows
Masjed Jame' (or The Jame' Mosque of Ferdows) is the grand , congregational mosque (Jame') of Ferdows , South Khorasan Province , Iran . The mosque is located towards the southwest of city , in the center of the ancient city of Toon .
It is mostly believed that this mosque was built during Seljuk dynasty , in the 11th century , but some researchers believe that it was constructed in the 7th century .
